NEW YORK
We are enjoying our stay in NY. Daniel was very lucky, he got us tickets for the David Letterman Show. We took the Long Island Railroad to Penn Station and then the Subway to the theater. We stood in line for a half hour and then was given a numbered ticket after verifying our name. We were told to come back at 3;00 and line up by number. We came back and after waiting for another hour and told what to do and what not to do we were ushered into the theater. The show was worth the wait, just to see how they Televised the show. Even though it was taped to air next thursday, November 3rd, it went very smooth with out a mistake. One interesting thing is that Letterman was very cordial to the audience, but off the camera he was very onery and grumpy. He had a girl assigned to him to follow him around biding his every whim. That cup he drank from, ever time he would take a sip from it, she would immediately replace it with a fresh cup. After the show was over the most interesting thing happened. He retaped a segment about Harriet Myers. He read from cards and had a hard time with it and got very frustrated. After the the third time, he said he would do it himself, it was quit hirarious! We took the subway and LI Railroad home. We left at 9:00 in the morning and got home at 8:00 that night. What a fun day!!

MR-2 END
1994 to 2005 we had the MR-2 in the family. A lot has happened in that time. As you can see , I'm a lot older! My children are all gone and have their own families. Daniel, remember when you almost lost your life on I-15 and all the tickets you got. The MR-2 was just a little to fast for you!
Yes, the MR-2 is gone, FOR A MEASELY $700. It went to a good home, a Toyota mechanic. He was the one that gave us the $800 estimate for a clutch replacement.
Charles And Sharese think I should purchase a NEW MR-2 SPIDER to fill the EMPTY spot in my heart. Any volunteers for donations for this cause, is now being accepted!!!

ADAMS' BOO BOO
Thanks to Daniel for giving me a lot of great science fiction books. I had to buy me a good reading chair. This is a good addition to our new great room.
This is a typical Adams boo boo, that turned out good, I think! We were in Boise at RC Willey's looking for a bed bench. Because I am an Adams' squeek, I found a Bench for $124. Most were going for $300 or more. Sharese said it was YUK and Karen didn't say much, because she knew I would buy it, for the price was low! When I got it home and assembled it, IT WAS YUK. Made in China and it looked like it!! We took it back to RC Willey in Orem to get our money back. That is where we got involved with the MR-2, but that's another story. We decided to look around, JUST LOOK. We found this beautiful Cedar Chest, AS IS $140 original $299. HERE IT IS! MELISSA'S BEAR AND DOLL, SHE GAVE TO KAREN HAS FOUND A HOME!!!
Lets see now!! $140 for Cedar Chest, $50 for gas -home to Orem and back, $37 for MR-2 new battery, $32 to fill MR-2 with gas to go to Boise, and $50 for meals. OH! never mind, WE HAD A LOT OF FUN WITH CHARLES AND STEPHANIE!!!!
