MR-2 END

1994 to 2005 we had the MR-2 in the family. A lot has happened in that time. As you can see , I'm a lot older! My children are all gone and have their own families. Daniel, remember when you almost lost your life on I-15 and all the tickets you got. The MR-2 was just a little to fast for you!

Yes, the MR-2 is gone, FOR A MEASELY $700. It went to a good home, a Toyota mechanic. He was the one that gave us the $800 estimate for a clutch replacement.

Charles And Sharese think I should purchase a NEW MR-2 SPIDER to fill the EMPTY spot in my heart. Any volunteers for donations for this cause, is now being accepted!!!

Let me add to the MR2 Eulogy: I learned a lot from the MR2 in my wild years. I learned that speeding tickets are bad, and red sports cars attract attention (once my licence was on probation I never got another ticket since). In the same vane, I learned it is very bad to illegally pass a sherrif in Toquerville while speeding in an MR2. I learned that rear wheel drive and black ice don't mix and that you should not take a date out in this environment (Heather was with me on a first date when we did a couple of 360's in the middle of the freeway at 70mpg into the path of an 18 wheeler). I learned that you should never, never, never spill fettachini alphredo in the trunk of an MR2, it will haunt you forever (open the trunk today and smell, mmmm garlic). I learned that three people in a two seater should be banned by the laws of nature. I will miss the MR2 greatly, it taught me many a lesson in life. Someday I hope to have a sports car of my own.... put me in for a donation Dad and you will always be welcome to use my car.
