I wish I were Daniel and could with a short prayer and a flip of a finger and great joy, CANCEL CHARCH, but no avail, to many who live down here are from nothern Utah and Idaho.

Yes & NO.
Wow, so are people still wearing shorts and sandels despite the weather? Haha. At least you can shake the dust off your coats and use them. It's nice to have a little taste of Winter season there, even if it is for just one day. The big question is, did anyone show up to church?
I love snow!!! You are so lucky. You have a great hill to go sledding down.
